Madison County Sherriff's deputies can now ticket drivers in the Malvern subdivision.
Several Malvern residents came before the Madison County Board of Supervisors in fall 2009 to request again that the roads in Malvern be officially designated highways for the purposes of law enforcement.
The roads in the Malvern subdivision are considered private and are maintained by the Malvern Homeowners Association.

Tickets are going fast for one of the biggest sporting events to be held in North Wales.
Up to 1,200 people are expected to attend the Bank Holiday Bash to be held at Liquid Nightclub in Wrexham on Sunday, April 4.
Forty six year old former Welsh champion Malcolm Vernon, formally of Corwen, will take on Marc Evans, who lives near Ruthin, in one of the bouts of the night.
